Re: enzyme, nirtrates, restraint, cool sugary summer drink

--- Hi, I have been away from the messages, but was just checking in

today. I use allzyme from the hfs, it works well for days too after

an infraction, we were unable to use pepcidAC because of the corn in

it- the gel- capsule also seems to iritate Jay so I disolve the

powder in water, the allzyme is rice based. I wasn't aware and not

sure I still understand how the enzymes or pepcid work I just know

they do and can ease the insanity of an ifraction. Jay's end of the

year report card is in. He was restrained 11 times each the first two

quarters of school before we began using the enzymes, 7 the third and

also the height of SAD, and 5 the fourth, 3 before I absoulutely had

a C O W and screamed at the program director for neglecting to

attempt reading as a descalation tecqnique. I also started writing

response to restraints and send copies to 8 different parties

involved - school districts doctors ect. Scince then only two

restraints and he was sick sick sick with allerigies! I finally

developed the resolve to elliminate the nitrates and monosodium

glutemates and jello and xanthian gum, hes been out of school for

three weeks and has shown way more maturity than my 14 year old who

usually is compemented for her maturity level! School starts monday.

For those of you who have also kicked the corn out of the diet-

A delicous kool-aid type drink (its high in sugar though)

from hannaford, 1 10 box frozen strawberries w/sugar-

1 squeezed lemon

sugar to taste

2 quarts of water,

Jay eats strawberries at bottom when hes done!
