Guest guest
The shuttle bus is a small bus. It is a bus from the Marriott not an airport shuttle if that makes sense. Also, if I remember correctly the Marriott we stay at is the first stop. It's really quite a short trip. You could bring a car seat if you like, you would be able to seat belt it in the seats, but they are not required. Guest guest
Guys - I don't remember there being seat belts on the shuttle bus though. There must be, I just can't remember. It is the standard hotel shuttle bus like a large van, with seats for about 20 or so. Guest guest
- Hi just thought I would put in my info about the shuttle bus to, This was a major concern for me... I thought I was going to have to bring my carseat on the plane but got his own seat and did great, on the shuttle bus he got to sit with some friends that were going to the convention as well I just let sit back there with them or on my lap , It is a quite bumpy fun ride!! I did though however have him on one of the child straps like a harness in the airport, it was rough trying to pull my carry on luggage and deal with him wanting to take off, it was wonderful I was hands free of him and yet he couldn't go far!! Hope this helps it wasn't so bad!~~! He loved riding like a big boy!! Oh one more funny thing.... When I did have the harness on him at the airport.. he embarressed me by barking like a puppy!!! I said quit that and he got on his knees ROFF ROOF.. that was funny!!! Have fun:) all s mommy Go to endo 2-morrow to see about growth wish us luck on maybe a half inch!!! -- In RSS-Support , Dayna Carney <daycarney@e...> wrote: > I thought I would call Marriott to make sure they had seatbelts and they > said they do. > > See everyone in a few days! > > Dayna > Re: Important Shuttle Bus Question for Convention! > > > > Guys - I don't remember there being seat belts on the shuttle bus > > though. Actually, the bus I took last year to the hotel did NOT have seat belts, at least not ones that would work with a car seat. Being the type of transportation it is, they are not required to by law. While Maxi was quite happy about the freedom, I was a little non-plussed. But it was so late (we were held up five hours on the runway) that I was just happy to get to the hotel. Hope everyone is well. Haven't been around for awhile, wish I were going this year but between the mortgage and COBRA this just wasn't going to happen. Will write an update later. Hugs and safe journeys to all, AmyMarie (mom to Maxi 5 and 1/2 yrs. who is now 39inch tall and weighs 33 pounds (on a good day) and still eats 3500 calories a day. Doctors still insist on watching and waiting and no testing, so we still have no DX.
