Guest guest
Olivia snacks all the time at home and we have it written in her IEP that she is to have snacks at her desk/table at all times. Her Aide will also prompt her to eat every hour. She has a great kindergarten teacher also who understands that a lot of kids that age don't like to eat breakfast right when they get up (Olivia eats breakfast well most days) so at 9:30 she takes a 10-15 min snack break also. In pre-school Olivia always seemed to eat better since all of the other kids were eating at the same time, my concern is just that all of her calories seem to go to maintaining her weight and running her body if you know what I mean, and we need to work out something that will also put weight on her.
