Guest guest
Hello All: I understand that if any our kids are dehydrated and go to the er and they need an iv they should get the D10 not the D5, but I was wondering what is the difference and why this is. Thanks B
Guest guest
Hi , D5 is 5% dextrose. D10 is 10% dextrose. Dextrose is sugar. It gets ones blood sugar level up faster. Hope this helps.
