Guest guest
Hi - I grew up in Staten Island NY so I've certainly lived through my share of nor-easters <G>. Can't say I miss them...but the advent of hurricane-force winds with the possibility of tornadoes is almost making me wish for a nor-easter instead! Joe says I'm obsessing, with all the preparation I've done for the storm but I just think I have a healthy respect for weather and I'd just as soon be prepared and ready, thank-you-very-much <wink>. He's scheduled to work at Walgreens until 3pm but is hoping to get out at 2pm. As for hypoglycemia...I MIGHT have had it when I was a little girl (remember, I wasn't diagnosed until I was 15, so everything is 20/20 hindsight) because I did had night sweats. But I was never checked because, again, no one thought to check. Nowadays, yes, I have a bit of hypoglycemia but it's totally my own fault...I generally don't eat breakfast so I occasionally feel it 3-4 hours after I've woken up. Same thing if I " forget " to eat a meal during the day. But I don't have the major hypoglycemia that a lot of RSS kids (and adult RSS kids) have. -Sharon- Just an RSS kid who grew up Orlando FL (should I bring the bungee cords? Shrug...sure, why not)
