Guest guest
I have seen this come up a couple of times, and I wanted to point out that only some selenium is yeast-based. That is the cheapest form, probably, because it is the most common but the form selenomethionine can be bought yeast-free. In this form it is also a methyl donor, so it is a very good anti-oxidant supplement and mercury binder for many of our kids who are on or near the spectrum (but not for over-methylators, of course.) So, be aware that if you are into the detoxification protocols but concerned about/allergic to yeast, this is a good option. Use it carefully, though, because it is toxic in amounts not much higher than therapeutic doses. > > > > > > Just remember...vinegar is fermented - which means it has yeast.
