Guest guest Posted July 5, 2001 Report Share Posted July 5, 2001 How do you all feel about the conversion of simple carbs like potatos and rice into sugar- which happens pretty quickly. How do you compensate for this in your kids' diets? I'm concerned about diabetes later in life and my daughter eats little meat. She loves fish but I've been limiting it because of my concern about mercury. she will eat some hamburger- 's 4% fat, antibiotic and steroid free.
