Guest guest
If you live in the US and eat anything bought in a super market, you are getting quite a bit of soy, whether you want it or not. Pick up a jar of mayonnaise and read the ingredients. Also: peanut butter, some chocolate bars, etc., etc. Things that you'd least expect to be full of soy, are. Why? Because it is a cheap filler and source of cheap oil. Since I'm sensitive to it, I kind of resent it. To me, soy beans are cattle feed and unpalatable to even cattle, let alone people. How many of you enjoy a steaming side dish of soy beans? The marketing of soy products is remarkable! Soy beans have been highly processed into all types of products for the livestock and human feed markets. I just wish that those of us who remain unsold did not have to check so many products in order to avoid soy. It's not good for everyone. Guest guest
I know what you mean Red. I look at all labels for soy. Don't want to even go near that path of unwellness with soy. Jen M. Prepackaged rice and noodle side dishes had soy, mushroom soup had it, Ritz crackers had it... We literally buy truckloads of premium bread products as a supplement food for our cows and poultry. It's the $3.00 a loaf stuff. Not one single bread product, including bagels and English muffins, coffee cakes and donuts, did NOT have soy!!! I found one jar of mushrooms, oatmeal, and a package of Spaghetti sauce mix that didn't have it. I'm wondering if some of the people who think they are gluten intolerant are actually sensitive to soy products?
Guest guest
I try my best not to eat any pre packaged foods. Although I can't seem to get my family to go along with me all the time. You want to eat healthy, and order soup in a restaurant, it's in the soup. It is literally everywhere. And it's also being feed to the livestock that I will eventually eat? wonderful, just wonderful. thanks for the info Jen M Re: Soy > > > I know what you mean Red. I look at all labels for soy.
