Although it isn't FDA approved for that use, I found a lot of published studies on its use with anorexics and some with cancer patients who have lost their appetite. These are on PubMed. MAGIC also has a document H-26 which you can order for your dr, written by Dr. H which explains how and why cypropheptadine works for these kids..
