A maple sugar smell can be indicative of a metabolic disorder called

Maple Sugar Urine Disease. This is usually screened for at birth, or, at

least, it is required around here. Please, if you notice this in your

kids, get this ruled out.

I was wondering what physical symptoms (that are not

typical autism traits)did different children have that

was cleared up while on this diet. For example Lil

(asd 3 yo) had bowel problems, maple syrup

smell in his urine and exema on his legs and all this

has been cleared up thanks to the diet.
