And, why you think it is the >best place. We live in Woodstock, Ulster County NY. Our son was first sent to a neurologist at 15 months by a very conscientious pediatrician who's since retired. So he started getting Early Intervention before he was 1 1/2 yrs old. PT and ST at home. Then a year and a half later he went to a pre-school for retarded kids, which wasn't appropriate for him. We got him into the Children's Annex last September, at 3 which is as early as they take kids. The Annex is an ABA program and they're just great. Kids go there from an hour and a half away, even from near New York City which frankly amazes me. It's in Kingston, only 25 minutes from our home. So we've really lucked out. Another way we've lucked out is that our neighborhood is squirreled away from the main road, has lots of kids, and people are super friendly. I can't imagine a better place to raise our family. Work is hard to come by though. I'm looking for something up to 6 hours commute/day, like in NYC right now to make good money. Marty
