Nope, neither of them were sitting on their own yet. The pics were

done by the Canadian Baby Photographers, a professional company who

does only newborns. They come right into your house and set the

lights and everything up, it's great!

They do a trick to make it appear that the kids are sitting. The

button to snap the picture is on a long wire and they hold the

baby's back, take away their hand, snap the pic and catch the baby

before she falls. It all happens so fast that you almost miss

it!! Olivia did finally sit at 13 months though and we were so

happy, from the prematurity we had no idea what, if any, brain

damage was done and CP wasn't ruled out at that time. was

right on target though sitting at 5 1/2 months.
