Guest guest
My son is 4 yo and diagnosed with PDD NOS 6 months ago. He has been off dairy since January. The end of April he seemed to get a virus and began vomiting and diarrhea for 2 days. Seemed to recover for 1 week then the same again. Today he has had this episode for the 4th time. The doctors tested stool samples twice and also for rotavirus. Everything negative. Dr thinks could be giardina, so we will start Flagyll tonight. Could his inability to kick this bug have anything to do with possible gluten sensitivities? If I wanted to start the GFCF diet when should I begin? My mother is fighting this very same thing, and she is on her 3rd round of Flagyl. a
