Taking blood from the head

I just wanted to pipe in and say that I had IVs put into my head numerous times

when I was younger (b/c they had trouble finding a vein elsewhere on my body)

and I certainly haven't been traumatized by it! I know it does sound horrible,

but I'm sure it's fine. I mentioned this thread to my mom when I talked to her

this morning and she said that she was always horrified too when the doctors

chose to go for the head, but that it must not have bothered me too much

because I never fussed as much when they put the IV in there as when they tried

my hands, feet, etc.
