Hi Pam - I'm 48 and should make it clear - I have used soy in various " doses "

throughout the years. Also please note, I think I was born with hyperT

symptoms since I was amemic from birth.

My use of soy ranges from using soy instead of coffee creamer to eating a

block of tofu when feeling very hyperT. Of all the Grave's in my family (parents

&

siblings apparently have one symptom or another), my symptoms have been the

least severe.

I have been hearing more and more about celiac disease (wheat allergy?) and

from the sounds of it, the symptoms of both Celiac & Graves are so personally

familiar. But I think there is more to the diet thing than I yet know. There

are foods I avoided since joining this group (wheat & dairy) and there are foods

/ diet sups that I have added. It kinda goes like this- more " base protiens,

fruits / veggies (I grow many) and less filler foods. " Cigarettes, chocolate &

coffee are my weaknesses but don't we all have a few. (I tried to quit

smoking and gained 15 lbs almost overnight - I'm only 5'1 " and it was H_LL.)

Ok then, did I say enough for you to forget my age?

=)

Sherry
