Emergency -- should I go to the ER?

Need advice quick.

My four-year-old nonverbal son just pushed out a screen and feel out of a

window to the ground below. He fell about six feet to soft ground. He has a

lump on his head and some scratches on his back and arms. He's still crying

and I'm not sure whether to take him to the ER or not. He'll be traumatized

if I do and I don't want that to happen unless it's necessary. I'm alone

with my two other children and any help is half an hour away.

Please advise.
