Guest guest
Hi, I too was at the convention (my first) with my daughter Emerence who was diagnosed SGA but with asymmetry (although I thought that was only for RSS) but go figure. Anyway, THANK YOU to EVERYONE there - you were ALL so helpful and friendly. I was also just talking to a friend of mine who has Cystic Fibrosis, made it through med school but had to drop out of her residency to get a double lung transplant on 1/3/03. She mentioned she was prescribed Scandishakes to help with nutrition and calories (she said it tasted better than Ensure to her). Anyone heard of these? By the way, she is doing REALLY well though her adopted brother died of CF just about 1 month ago (her parents adopted him because he had been abandoned as a baby b/c he had CF). , 4.5, Emerence SGA but now 17lb 7 oz and 29 "
