Guest guest
Hi there all, I know I havent posted in a while (except for my poem) but I have been reading and YES we are still doing the diet..(BTW Hi !) I have been so busy doing his schedule and keeping up with his book and ABA programs . I do have a hard time with my son not having accidents (in my house full of junk and a 6 year ld daughter who insists on leaving open bags of Doritos on her bed ) So I read up on the enzymaid and I thought I would have it around for accidental digestions of " the wrong foods " I did start giving him one capsule on a daily basis.. I dont know if that is bad .. But I will tell you one thing. I also increased his DMG tablets to 2 a day and he also takes one capsule of the SNT.. I STOPPED Cod Liver Oil as it gave him HORRIBLE STOOLS. there was a DIRECT connection. So I stopped it.. ANyway, wuth the Enzymaid and the increase of DMG from 1 to 2 a day I have noticed an increase of spontaneous speech! MORE SO with him while he is watching videos or TV. He wasnt a big TV fan..he normally would stim (jumping at certain parts of the video when actions or loud sounds would occur) Just the other day he was repeating the appropriate words to his alphebet video.. something he never used to do. He has been vocal for a while but only when INSTRUCTED to talk. Now he has more spontaneous requests . Just wondering if anyone else has seen this. I have not SLAYED the vocal stimm dragon however.. he does still humm and has aquired a new high pitched ecxited scream.. This we are trying to control with ABA as well as ME trying some of that Verbal behavior stuff.. But to no avail.. Anyway.. Hope I am welcomed back. SOrry I havent written in a while BTW thank you all so much for all the wonderful emails on my son's poem.. Be strong and Keep faith! Many Blessings
