Magnesium and hyperactivity

We are having some fact finding discussion on the enzymesandautism

board about giving magnesium (around 1000 mg/day) to reduce

hyperactivity which appears when the body starts going GFCF (or in

general too, I guess). This is in line with a lot of the

recommendations and literature. Has anyone here given magnesium to

help reduce unwanted hyperactivity?
