Guest guest
* ABA -( explained by in a prior post)- is one part of what made my son accomplish all he has. The diet and my hard work with him also. He is 6 1/2 years old, has been in ABA for over 4 years and on this diet for 1 year and 2 months. My son now reads, has started printing, does easy spelling and easy math. His stims are all gone, he focuss on things and wants to learn. I recommend thew book " Behavioral Intervention for Young Children with Autism " edited by Maurice. It explains ABA in full detail, the complete ABA format of lessons, etc. My son in addition to full time school also gets 8 hours a week in the home paid for by my school district. He will be starting transition classes in Sept. and already is mostly off the discreet trials and now works with dittos, reading and comprehension, etc. ABA is definetly the way to go, and the earlier they start the better. Relax, take some deep breaths and the best of luck for you tomorrow with your eval. Let us all know.
