Guest guest
Hi Mimi, I think the car seat that your Ped is talking about goes from birth to 40#. This type of car seat is different from an infant carry in that it doesn't have a handle. It can be used both rear and front facing, so you would have it for a while. Once Isaac is 20# or over, you can just turn the car seat to front facing. We had the this problem with . By the time he was 20#, and could be turned to front facing, his poor legs were all scrunched up again the back of the seat, even though we were using a convertible car seat! LOL He wasn't able to turn to front facing until he was closer to 2 yrs old. Hope this helps. Guest guest
you can use the convertible at anytime since it goes from infant to 40lbs. he may be more comfortable in it since it sits more up right and he will be able to see more!!! it will help for a while with the scrunch legs but he will eventually be scrunched again before he reaches the weight for turning around-20lbs. like i said i turned him around once his legs were touching the van seat. i think he was about 18lbs. otherwise he would have been sitting backwards until he was almost 3!!!! LOL!!! jodie c. > > Hi Mimi, > > > > I think the car seat that your Ped is talking about goes from birth > to 40#. > > This type of car seat is different from an infant carry in that it > doesn't > > have a handle.
