Guest guest
Dr. H was annoyed that Dr. Starkman had been looking at Kedhar " myopically " . She felt that everything wasn't comprehensive ie no real family history taken, no looking at the issues as a result of my difficult pregnancy, what similar effects may be there in Sahana (Kedhar's twin for others who are reading this). That is why she examined me as well. The twins were IVF and she thinks after examining me that I may be insulin resistance (even though not diabetic). Given that my husband is diabetic, this could mean Kedhar & Sahana could develop insulin resistance at a very young age. So, I am going to take Sahana in as well next time. If Kedhar was SGA, Sahana who was smaller at birth is also SGA. Although she has caught up, Dr. H wants to watch her as well to make sure she doesn't develop other problems like early puberty etc. Hope that helps. -Malathi > > , > > There is not a great feeling between Dr. Starkman and Dr. H.
