Guest guest
I have my doc appt tomorrow. Here is what is know: In 1999 I was losing some weight (had stopped taking prednisone)... I had some blood tests: TSH was 1.82 (the expect range was 0.35 to 7.00) - doc said normal. ------------------------------------------- Last week, after seeing a doc who noticed I had a goiter, i got more tests: thyroxine 13.6 (5.5-11.0 expected) thyroid uptake 49.3 (23.5 to 40.6 expected range) free thyroxine index 22.3 (4.5 -10.6 expected range) TSH 3rd generation <0.003 (expected range 0.465-4.680) ------ Also this was the report: both left and right lob3s of thyroid appear enlarged showing increased by homgeneous uptake. no hot or cold nodules. 24 hour uptake is elevated measuring 56.4percent What does this mean? jae
