Guest guest
Hi All, I know alot of you have been down this road so I am coming for advice and support. Liam is 3 years 7 months, SGA possible RSS. He has always been a horrible eater but never had a feeding tube. I have him on toddler formula. I mix it 2 scoops in 8 oz of milk.... Liam does not eat at all.. Even on days when he dosen't drink any of the formula... Everyone tells me he will eat when he is hungry...We all know that is not the case with our children! He has sensory issues so there is only a few foods he will eat anyway.... Today all he had so far ( it is 12:30pm) was 1 and 1/2 cups of his formula. Yesterday he had one cup of formula all day and 2 french fries, and 3 crackers... and about 6 bites of Vanilla icecream. Usually when he dosen't eat I will give him more formula, but we were out all day and I don't bring it with me..... I worry about him basically being on an all liquid diet.... Also he lost about 2 or 3 pounds in the last 2 weeks.... Thanks for listening..... Mom to Liam (3 1/2 years old 34 3/4 " 27 lbs SGA / possible RSS, Hypothyriod, Epilepsy.)
