Guest guest
Hi - Sorry I have been hiding for a while. My life has been absolutely nuts lately! My foster kids honeymoon period are both officially over!! UGH!!! It is taking every thing in my power and by the grace of God not to just loose it! I literally cannot leave them alone for a minute because their behavior is so delinquent that I am afraid that they will be into or doing something. It is literally like having four toddlers on a full time basis. This evening, I let them go outside and they were not gone for three minutes. I came out to make sure that they were in front of the house where I told them to be ... and they both were gone. Guess where they were!? On top of the roof! To add insult to injury I think the doctor is going to hospitalize Braxton to recheck on the seizure thing and Chad is not doing well just because of the stress of the whole situation at the moment. My stepson is living with us so that he can attend a private christian school where my mother-in-law works. Thank God he is doing great! And Hannah is also doing really well because she just started school. She is in a developmentally delayed preschool program/special ed class. She absolutely loves school and is so happy to go every day. Her teachers love her and she adores them. They did loose her for about a half hour last week. She had hid in the bottom shelf of one of those little tiny wooden toy refrigerators. She did not make any noise for the longest time. She finally couldn't hold it in any longer and started giggling and they heard her but they still couldn't tell where she was for a few more minutes. They often joke about her " Napoleon Attitude " and, her big attitude trapped in a little body. They said she is very territorial when it is circle time over this little tiny blue doll chair. She thinks she has to sit in it even though all the kids are supposed to sit on the rug. If anyone gets there first she yells " Hey! You get out of my chair! " (And three of those kids are literally a foot and a half foot taller than her.) And they move. The teacher has finally just decided that the blue chair is Hannah's. And she sits in her chair while all the other kids sit on the floor. I just hope she doesn't make this her new personality trait... it is not the best way to win friends and influence people. ) .
