Schwan's Sweet and Sour Chicken

I just got a call from Schwan's. I had called them

back in May and asked if their Sweet and Sour Chicken

with Rice was GFCF. I was so impressed that she was

still trying to get ahold of me after researching it

for so long! She was happy to report that yes, it is

GFCF. It looks really yummy, and comes frozen in a

2.25 lb. package. They're $7.99 for one, or $15.50

for two or more. They would be nice to be able to

just throw in the oven or microwave for a change. The

product description says that it contains chicken,

pineapple, green and red peppers, water chestnuts, and

bamboo shoots in a sweet and sour sauce. The sauce

doesn't appear to be overloaded with red dye either.

Since we found out about 's allergies to

chicken and rice this week, we won't be eating it on a

regular basis, but might try it and watch for

reactions sometime. Sounded like a great idea before

we knew about these allergies! Hope someone was

interested in this info!
