Guest guest
I e-mailed Guiltless Gourmet, a chip company, to ask if any of their products were gluten-free. The response was as follows: <<We recommend eating the Unsalted Baked Yellow Chips for a gluten free diet. All of the other chips have an application of Oleic Canola Oil, which is not recommended for individuals who are maintaining a gluten free diet.>> I hadn't thought Canola Oil was a problem, and don't know what Oleic means and why that would render other chips they make unsafe. Any ideas? And does anyone know of a safe corn chip? Every type I've called or e-mailed about seems to have a cross-contamination possibilty, with the possible exception of the Unsalted Baked Yellow Chips by Guiltless Gourmet. Thanks!
