The Level 2 is much more indepth.. and the high tech machines have the

capabilites to do color images ( to show blood flow) and the detail difference

is

amazing.

With baby Jonah.. you could clearly see each vertabrae.. and every bone.. and

even a fairly clear image of his face.

The US machine in the OB's office .. at least my OB.. she uses it for a quick

check.. to early date a pg... etc.

I had my level 2's done at the Peri/Maternal Fetal Medicine Dr's office...

There was a TV up on the ceiling so you could watch without crooking your

neck to see the monitor on the machine..

Does anybody know what the difference is between a regular Sonogram

or Ultrasound and a Level II - I am high risk because my first son

was born disabled, because of my age (41) and then the Weight loss

surgery. What can they see or do on this Sonogram that they can't

in the Doctor office. Just curious, I have insurance and such - but

nobody evers says.
