Guest guest
I have had that alot in the past few weeks and now it is much worse like I am ready. If you are really that uncomfrtable I would go get checked since you are still early. It could just be your pelvic floor muscles stretching and getting ready for birthing along with your bones in your pelvis. With my first pregnancy it was painful, second not bad and this one I feel like baby is coming out. Don't be afraid to get checked, that is what they get paid for and what they expect from us.. Guest guest
Ok, I know that feeling pressure is normal but today has been bad. Not only does Rori feel like she is coming out of me but I am real crampy too. Nothing timable, but just crampy. It gets worse the more I move around. I am 36 weeks. Does anyone have any advice? I see military doctors and they just say go to labor and delivery anytime I call with a question. I dont want to run in everytime something doesnt seem right. Your advice is appreciated. Increase your intake of fluid and rest and put your feet up. Take a bath, or a nap. If it continues to feel odd and doesn't get better, then my advice would be to trust your body and go ahead and go in to be checked. If you're not in labor, then you get to go back home, no big deal. Women do that all the time. At least then you'll have a better idea of what might (or might not) be going on. -Kris
Guest guest
, When I was pg with my son, I remember getting that too. Believe me, when you are in labor, you will know it!! The bigger the baby gets, the harder she is going to push on your cervix, which is very painful. Maybe she is dropping and that is why it feels different to you. Hope that helps some, but everything sounds normal!! Since I have yet to have the WLS, I am not sure if post-wls pgs are different though:) a Just need some advice Date: Tue, 13 Jul 2004 20:44:54 -0000 > Ok, I know that feeling pressure is normal but today has > been bad. Guest guest
Hi ! I am 34 weeks & 3 days and have been experiencing the same cramping since last Thursday. I went to the doctor yesterday as I couldn't wait for my regular check up today-- I was worried my little guy was coming early! My contractions were sporadic with no pattern to them BUT I had to sit/lay down as they literally were so painful they took my breath away. I drank water & rested which seemed to help. I was shocked that my doctor wasn't more concerned but she said that I was dilated to one (which she said is " normal " for someone who has already had a child) and my cervix was still long so everything checked out good and she didn't think there was a problem. Here I was rather freaked thinking it may be pre-term labor. She told me to continue drinking the water & resting when it happens, monitoring the contractions as well (length & duration apart) so that is what I have been doing at this point. I am so afraid that my water is going to break at work... I work in a small office with 6 other people but all males! Any ideas as to what I should bring to work just in case?? The doctor broke my water with my first son so I never had to experience that before! When did you all pack your bag for the hospital? I haven't even thought about that yet but perhaps I should, only 5 1/2 weeks to go!! YIPEE. Thanks! Ivy Kennedy DOS 11/7/00 EDD 8/22/04- it's another boy! Big brother Jake will be 10 yrs old 9/25/04. Guest guest
I went home last night and put my feet up, took a little nap on the couch til dinner was done. That seemed to help. I did end up going into labor and delivery last night. I felt like a complete idiot afterwards though. I went to bed and was just about to fall asleep and had to pee. I got up and went came back to bed, I turned from my side to my back and stuff just started running out of me. I told my husband the either my water broke or I just peed the bed. Of course he freaked out and said we were going in. I got there and the hooked me all up and after about 2 hours they confirmed that I just peed the bed!! I felt like an idiot. The nurse was nice, she said not to feel like that cause that is what they are there for. I guess I just didnt understand why, if it was just pee, I couldnt stop it. She said the baby is putting so much pressure on my baldder. I was glad that it wasnt time just yet. I want her here so I can kiss and hold her, but I'm not ready. I havent even thought of packing a bag, I still need to find a rug and a rocking chair for her room. I still have to wash her clothes. I guess I better get busy, only 4 more weeks to go.
