hello, i have belonged to this group for a long time, but never had

the need to come to it. (that sounds bad...but wasnt pregnant.)

well, i find that i am pregnant and dont know anyone who has been

after RNY. i had serious potassium problems after surgery. then

after gallbladder removal post op i had serious b12 and folic acid

problems. then i had hernia repair w/mesh and again..my body freaked.

i have my first appt w/my obgyn (who delivered my 6 1/2 yr old

daugher) tommorow morning. WHAT DO I TELL HIM?!!

i have not taken vitamins after surgery at all. flinstones even make

me sick. cannot crush vitamins or take anything that gags me.. uck!

my surgeon told me i need small prenatals.

should i ask to be high risk? go to a (forgot name/spelling also)

perinatal doc?

thanks you all for your help!

Yvonne

I am sorry you have had such a hard time, hopefully things get

better. An idea for you vitamins, I take the Strong Start Chewable

prenatals. They are a mild orange flavor and do not upset my stomach.

They are by prescription, but well worth it. I have alot of troubles

w/ vitamins and pills also and these work great. Good luck, in

Nevada....
