Guest guest
Hi All, Back to the doctors today for my weekly appointment. I saw yet another covering doctor since mine is still not back from vacation....and I found out mine is not coming back now until the 29th instead of the 21st!!!! Arrrrrgh!!!! Then I went for my NST and ultrasound. The baby did not move at all for 20 minutes. This is really unusual for him. The nurse had to use the stimulator thing on my tummy and he did move then didn't move again...giving me and the nurse some major concern. They finally gave up and did the ultrasound and then he started moving all around....He is still head down and my amniotic fluid has decreased a little more since last week. They showed the results to the covering doctor but he was not concerned at all. The L & D nurse said she thinks I could go very soon....I don't know why she said that she said she just has a feeling. I sure hope she is right cause I'm tired of being pregnant. I did come home and finally packed my hospital bag. I was home for a little while and hubby had forgotten he had to go into MacWorld ( Hubby is in charge of all the computers from Maine to Florida for his company) in Boston so he asked if and I wanted to go. I said I didn't want to go to MacWorld...but and I would go to the Childrens Museum. I didn't think it would be that crowded because of being a Tuesday but I was wrong. It seems every summer camp program was there and it was very stressful to keep my eye on and also keep my belly safe from the pack of wild animals running around aka kids. I will say this I will never - I repeat - NEVER send to a YMCA summer day camp. I saw the chaperones screaming at, hitting, and just ignoring the kids. I saw kids hurt and nobody coming to help them. It was very stressful and emotional for me to see kids treated this way. had a good time we got soaking wet in the bubble room and played and played. I am so tired. was an absolute angel and listened and took care of me - he's so cute! I can't wait to go back when we have Jonas and he is a little older. Well I hope everyone else had a great day...I'm going to sleep now! Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old! Jonas Due July 28, 2004! Guest guest
For all those that are past your due date and want to give in....I have to say that castor oil worked like a charm for me! I took it at approx. 10pm and went into labor with my water breaking by 1am.... I was also to the point that I was tired of being pregnant and was at my due date - so I took the chance. I figured what did I have to lose and I have to say I have the most beautiful baby boy that I could ever imagine! Good luck to all who are close or past their due dates - we're working on #2 now so hopefully we will have some good news in the next month or so!!! Love you to all!!!
