a bit of a scare on Tues.....but all is well........

It is very normal tog et some implantation bleeding and disharge from it.

Brown blood is usually safe to have since it is old blood. Glad everything

checked out okay. It is good to be safe and call the doc, I always do.

Hi everyone,

Well yesterday I was at work and noticed a slight brownish discharge

when I went to the bathroom.....hope that's not

TMI.....sorry.....anyway, it scared me so I called my OB's office.

They told me that since I am such a high risk OB patient, to come

into the office so they could so an ultrasound and check my hcg

levels, etc. I went in and took my hubby with me for emotional

support. We were terrified......anyway, the nurse practioner said we

might not see a heartbeat at just 6 weeks.......well......we saw the

heartbeat!!!! And I am exactly 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant

today....baby is fine...exactly where it needs to be size

wise.....and a healthy heartbeat and growing. She said the lining of

my uterus looked good. She checked my cervix and said it was nice and

closed and no blood.....so....all is well.....whew! I go in next Wed

for my normal prenatal appt. Looking forward to this baby

growing.......am still taking the progesterone too.......
