Thank you for your responses to my BFP

Hi everyone!!!

Just wanted to let you know that I have an appt. to take a pregnancy test on

Monday afternoon at 3pm...so say some prayers!! I told my WLS and his nurse

today and they were so excited! They'll be in the office on Monday, so I'll

be able to let them know right away what I find out. I'm so nervous

everyone!!! I mean, I've always dreamt of being a Mom, but now that it might

actually happen I'm scared to death!!! Oh my goodness. I feel like crying and

screaming all at the same time.

Anyway...my friend Lara came over this afternoon to help me " clean sweep. "

Mark and I have WAY too much stuff and we HAVE to get rid of a bunch of stuff

if we're going to have room for a baby. Lara is about 5 weeks pregnant. I

wasn't going to tell her anything about me taking a pregnancy test today, but

I wanted to get her take on the test strip result. She looked at it and

said, " Melody...you're pregnant!! " She has a really " potent " pregnancy test

left over from when she found out she was pregnant a few weeks ago. She's

going

to bring that over to me so I can use it.

So...now the waiting begins. In 5 days (or less) I'll know for sure.

YIKES!!!

Oh...and what have people done about telling people??? How long have you

waited to tell people that you were pregnant?? I'm not a supersticious person

at all, yet a part of me feels like if I tell anyone, I'll jynx my pregnancy.

I know that's crazy, but what have you guys done??
