Guest guest
Hi , Just read your message, and here on the west coast it is still technically your birthday (10:40 pm), so HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! You have gotten the best birthday present of all this yr, haven't you?? Hope you had an awesome day too....Today is actually one of my very good friend's birthday's too...She turned 42 and had her last baby just 10 mos ago! Hugs to you and Hannah ps...Can't wait to see the pics! > > Chrystal, > > Thanks . I really enjoy being on this list still and seeing > your posts and everyone else's though Hannah is keeping me busy and > I don't get to reply as often as before she was here! LOL! > Hannah is doing great though most people think she is tiny and after > they ask me how old she is the next question is ALWAYS " Was she a > preemie? " . LOL! She just turned 12 weeks and I swear she thinks > she is 6 months already! She started rolling over from tummy to > back just before she was 12 weeks and from the first day she has > done it constantly, she is also stomach scooting all over the > place. I swear she is teething already because she is always > chewing on her hands and drooling. I'm not sure if this rolling > stuff and scooting stuff is early or not officially, but I feel it > is so I'm preparing myself for her to crawl and walk early. This > kid is so active! She doesn't sleep much during the day and is > happiest when she is around lots of activity. I think she is up to > nearly 9lbs now but I haven't weighted her. I was supposed to take > her in to the ped doc on Monday for a weight check but I have had to > reschedule that appointment because I have taken off to Texas to > spend 3 weeks with my Mom. I needed a " Mom fix " for a while to get > away from all the crap of the lawsuit, and yes, Glenn and I are > pursuing it. I totally agree with you about not letting it go. > When we were speaking to the lawyer about how my reputation was > damaged by the false CPS report I told him about how part of me > wanted to pursue this because of pride and wondered how critical it > was to get things changed. He told me it was absolutely critical > because if I waited and then problems came up later down the road if > I decided to go back to work, (my degree is in education), it may be > too late, so that was the major deciding factor. Glenn and I had to > take a huge loan out of his retirement account ($2500) to retain the > lawyer, but he is the best in Minneapolis when it comes to privacy > stuff like this so we knew we had to use him. The good thing is he > doesn't give me that icky lawyer feeling when I speak to him, the > guy is in the lawyer business to actually help people like me in > this position. Besides fixing my reputation, a huge reason for > doing this is to make sure this does not happen to another Mom like > me who has a chronic pain problem that she has to take medication > for. If I had diabetes or heart problems that I had to take > medication for this wouldn't have happened, it simply happened > because of the meds I have to take and people pre-judging me for it, > its total BS. I'm not looking to get the L & D nurse or the social > worker fired, I just want them to think twice before they act and > realize when they do they are seriously messing with peoples lives > if they are acting in the wrong. There were so many times that all > this could have been avoided if either one of them had simply read > my chart or phoned any one of my docs listed in my records because I > was adamant that it was plastered all over my chart what meds I was > on and why. > > > > BLAH! I have rambled on about this long enough! LOL! I will try > to take some pics of Hannah and post them to the group so you can > see the little peanut! I can't wait to get her ears pierced, I > wonder what is a good age to do it? I pierced my niece's ears at 6 > months so I think I will wait till then, if I can! LOL! > > > > We are having tons of fun with Grandma!
