Mathew was born July 3rd!!!!

Mathew was born July 3rd 7lbs 3 ounces 20 inches. Had a hard

time with the C-section the spinal and epdiural ended up not working

andthey eneded up putting me out, they also said something about my

oxygen levels being low too and then something about the babies

heart rate getting low and that was all i remember. They ended up

takin him to the NICU for a couple of days and then the immediate

nursery. I was in the hospital from July 3rd til July 8th with

fevers on and off wasnt able to take him him home til July 9th they

wanted him to finish his round of anitbiotics but were home and all

is well he is a good baby. He goes for his first pediatrican

appointment tomorrow so I will report back on how he does. And when

I get his hospital pic I will post it. Thanks to all of you guys for

all your advice and support. This club is a god send. Talk to you

Congratulations on Mathew's birth!!! Sorry to hear it was a tough

delivery, and immediate post partum for you and him, but glad you

are both home safe and sound and doing well...

I agree with you, this group IS a godsend!

Hey - Congrats!!!!

Your post reminds me of my son's birth I had a hard road with

labor - also wound up in emergency csection after having some

complications with natural labor...and Trent was also 7# 3oz, 20 "

long!

I was in the hosptial from Sunday til Friday and was so happy (and

relieved) when they released him from ICU and we were allowed to be a

family of three AT HOME. (Seems like an eternity doesn't it?)

I hope the first appt goes well...keep us updated. Congrats again -

take care of the little lovebug!

- Not a biggie, but I forgot to mention that Trent was also born

on the 3rd....but it was in March not July.
