has arrived

Hello everyone!!

I am still trying to catch up on all the emails as I have been away from the

computer for awhile. I gave birth to on Tuesday July 13th at 8:03

pm. After waiting a long ten years since the birth of my daughter, she is a

godsent. I had a pretty fast labor, can't say easy but it wasn't as bad as my

daughter was when she was born. I actually went away over the weekend to the

beach and lost my mucous plug on Saturday morning, was crampy all weekend and

Monday night I started having contractions but they were all over the place so I

went to my regular OB appt. on Tuesday and he told me that I was 3cm dilated at

that time so I went home and had lunch, did some wash and cleaning and almost 2

hours later I told my niece to take me to the hospital. When I got there they

told me that I wasn't quite ready so they had me do the two hour walk around the

hospital which indeed was all it took to start active labor. She arrived 3 hours

after I was officially admitted to the hospital. She was 7lbs. 1oz. 20

1/2inches. The OB actually told me that she was going to be bigger than that as

I was measuring 40 weeks last week. I am so elated that she is here but still

can't believe that it actually happened. After 10 years of heartache and the

loss of my triplets last year, I never thought this would happen to me. I want

to wish Chrystal, Robin and Toi the best of luck and can't wait to hear your
