Hi ya'll....

OK....I remember several posts about post- tummy tuck

pregnancies.....so I am giving my feedback on this subject :) I had

my RNY back in FEb. 2001. I had a tummy tuck in Aug. 2002....and was

real close to my goal at that time......since that time, I have

gained about 25 pounds but my tummy is very flat and very tight. I

had no plans of having any more children......WELL.....God had other

plans.....so now I am worried about so much....I did ask my OB about

the tummy tuck issue and how would my tummy stretch that far out? He

said that it indeed would stretch (and he compared it to a tiny

skinny woman) and he said " it's amazing what your skin can do).....he

said he had a patient that was preg with twins and it was less than a

year after her tummy tuck and she did fine and her tummy went right

back flat after her delivery of her twins......so....who knows....and

I guess it depends on your age and how tight your tummy was

done.....mine was done VERY tight....and I am 39.....so....who

knows.....but I can tell you that I already have a bulging tummy at

just 6 weeks pregnant....and my doc said that is for several

reasons.....first and foremost.......my tummy tuck.....and secondly,

because I have fibroids which causes some bulging because I have so

many of them.....and also because of my age.....and because I have

been pregnant several times before and each subsequent pregnancy

causes you to show sooner.....that is what my OB told me at

least.....so.....I am needing to find maternity

clothes ........YIKES! it's going to be a LONG pregnancy :)

LOL....OK.....now.....for the morning sickness issue.......wow.....I

had it pretty bad with my son 12 years ago but I never threw

up....just got really queasy .....same thing this time.......the only

thing I can eat without getting nauseated so far is toast with

butter.......that's it......wow! Sweets really cause me to feel

nauseated.....guess that's good...LOL>..back when I weighed 300

pounds when preg with my son......I lived on donuts, mexican food and

pizza......NOT this time.....all of that stuff makes me very ill and

plus it's not good for me or the baby anyway......so....my diet is

going to be changing.......OK....one more thing......I am very very

busty.....a 38F right now.......I am having a difficult time finding

bras and maternity tops......I have looked to no avail. I hate to buy

online cuz I have to try things on......anyone know of anywhere near

Austin Texas where I could find maternity clothes/bras? HELP ! Or

does anyone have any they no longer need. I wear about a size 14

now.....Last time I was preg with my son......I wore a 26!!!!! It

should be easier to find maternity clothes this time around I would

hope. I am 5'9.....so I need things that would be for a tall woman.

OK.....now that this is a novel.....I will sign off. :)

Hugs to all
