Guest guest
Hello All, well, we just got home yesterday evening. Just a couple of quick notes and I will try to write more later... Tristan Connor was born at 12:09pm on Monday, July 12th. He weighed 6 pounds, 14.5 ounces, and was 19 inches long. He is tiny in comparison to my other children (Pre-WLS) who were both over 8.5 pounds. He is a very happy and healthy little boy and very beautiful! (motherly pride?) I will post a pic as soon as his Daddy gets them on the computer or I get the hospital pic, whichever comes first. I am doing as well as I suppose I can given my 3rd c-section and few issues encountered which were minor and I will write about later when I have some more time. Happy to report that nursing is working this time, although we are supplementing with formula. I will write more about that later too. I am disappointed to report, however, that after delivering Tristan, and removing double the normal amount of amniotic fluid and whatever else they all do, I had only lost 2 of the 52 pounds I gained. Granted, I was pumped full of fluids for almost 3 days and still have to rid my body of some of that, but I was very disappointed nonetheless. I have not lost anything else since. I am also very saddened to post that my longest best friend in the whole world, my mother, was told, and told me on Tuesday while I was I was in the hospital, that she has lung cancer that has matastisized (spelling). She goes in on Monday to find out how bad it is. She is now planning her death, but is overjoyed over the birth of her last grandchild. If you recall from my previous posts, Darryn and I and my 3 children live with my mother, so everything is extremely " close to home. " Best wishes to all of you! Hugs, Jacque
