- Pitocin & Vbac induction

I was told by my doctor that pitocin is safe and recognized by ACOG as safe

for VBAC....but the gel's that ripen the cervix are dangerous and have had high

rates of rupturing the uterus in vbac.

He said pitocin is safe because it can be turned off.

I had thought that it was not safe to use Pitocin but he showed me all this

literature..
