Guest guest
I have a quick question. After I had my surgery, I noticed that I would vomit foam, If I ate to much or to fast. Well the problem is I am still doing it. I really don't have any sickness from the pregnancy, but it seems that atleast once a day I am vomiting foam. I just don't know why. Does anyone else have this problem? Guest guest
Yes although I havent been sick with this pregnancy, I have the inability to vomit up anything that I take down other than just some froth. I think it has to do with me not having a sphincter muscle at the end of my stomach anymore.... nevertheless, my vomiting days are over... when I dump.. I am sick til it comes out the other end. ) Open RNY-11-15-02 313/170 Mother to: ne 5-30-1996 Micaela 6-12-1998 Miranda 4-3-2000 #4 Due 2-08-2005
Guest guest
The reason your vomiting foam is because you do not have a regular stomach...so as soon as you eat the food basically goes through you into your pouch so all you have to come up is spit...that is all that would be...spit...hope this helps Adam & e Gaspard RNY 04.07.03 e 370/245 Adam 394/258 EDD #1 08.31.04 Kay Independent Beauty Consultant www.marykay.com/starbound107 " That which does not kill us, makes us stronger " Foamy Vomit I have a quick question. The foamy spit only came up once in 3 months, rest of the time it was just the gagging and harsh coughin (and of course the awful nausea) My hubby (and anyone who was around when it would happen) thought I had hairballs or something! I am finally over it about 2 weeks ago. I am at week 13 now. I couldn't decide for myself if vomiting would have been better because I would at least know when I was done, or worse because while it was painful, annoying and embarassing, at least I would just have to grab a kleenex and not have to hug the toilet. Most people in public just asumed I had bronchitis or somesuch. Colleen
Guest guest
Meridth, I do the same thing. Last night, about 15 minutes after finishing dinner, I got very nauseous. I spent a good 1/2 hour in the bathroom and all that came up was foam. It reminds me a lot of what happened right after surgery when I would ingest too much liquid at one time. I am over 3 years out, so I'm not sure why I'm doing it. I'm 12 weeks PG and have been going through this for the last 10 weeks. I hope someone has the answer! Guest guest
Hmmm, I found I had new food intolerances during the 1st trimester. Can't remember what the dinners consisted of, perhaps something greasy or highly processed or spicy & up they came, slime & all. Stuff that hadn't bothered me before.
