I was absolutley completely healthy pre-preg POST WLS. Labs were

perfect. Pregnancy was the cause of my nutritional deficiencies and it

continued to worsened rather than improve. You are right, I am the

" rare " instance when things go awry.

there was another wls member in here before who developed

nutritional neuropathies and was in a WC for 2 years and had to learn

to walk all over again. I dont think she is a member here anymore.

This was pre-preg and post WLS.

You are right, we are atypical and rare of course.

Anemic? no

15 before preg. AFTER WLS. Complete labs normal.

; I advise many post-ops on breastfeeding issues, and in general.--- I

wanted to BF more than anything, but for me it wasnt to be.

Most post op WLS pg pts are normal and do fine, just not 100% of us.

:)

on the mend now though!
