Guest guest
, I was absolutley completely healthy pre-preg POST WLS. Labs were perfect. Pregnancy was the cause of my nutritional deficiencies and it continued to worsened rather than improve. You are right, I am the " rare " instance when things go awry. > You're right, I missed your postings. However, I am wondering... were > you osteoporitic or osteopenic before you got pregnant? Guest guest
, there was another wls member in here before who developed nutritional neuropathies and was in a WC for 2 years and had to learn to walk all over again. I dont think she is a member here anymore. This was pre-preg and post WLS. You are right, we are atypical and rare of course. :_) Sheila > > you osteoporitic or osteopenic before you got pregnant? no Anemic? no > > were your complete sets of labs before you got pregnant? hgb was 15 before preg. AFTER WLS. Complete labs normal. ; I advise many post-ops on breastfeeding issues, and in general.--- I wanted to BF more than anything, but for me it wasnt to be. Most post op WLS pg pts are normal and do fine, just not 100% of us. on the mend now though!
