Guest guest
does anyone have PCOS, who does or has taken Clomid to try and get pregnant? If so, did you have a hard time ovulating when you were supposed too? Philippa
Guest guest
I have pcos, but I am only 3 months post-op, so we can't try to conceive yet. My Dr. told me to get an ovulation predictor, which I already have, because he thinks that since I am on a normal 28-30 day cycle I am ovulating and hopefully I can get pregnant without clomid. Let me know what else you find out because I am interested as well. Good luck! Alison
Guest guest
Alison are you using birth control of any kind? If not get on it or you may end up pregnant. I had PCOS as well -- as did many women on here that later gave birth. Some got pregnant way early after surgery. You really need to take care of yourself and do what you can to prevent pregnancy because PCOS can and does resolve itself after WLS -- not in everyone but in a great majority of people. Guest guest
I had PCOS, and tried clomid three or four times before WLS with no success. After WLS I started to have regular periods right away, but according to the ovulation predictor they were sterile. Then after 9 months, I did ovulate, and got pregnant the tenth month out of surgery rather by accident. It took a while, but once the weight was gone, it seemed top correct itself. Best of luck! > does anyone have PCOS, who does or has taken Clomid to try and get > pregnant?
