Hi Diane!!

Thanks for your reply to my post about clomid. The OB/GYN that I'm seeing

just happens to specialize in fertility (or infertility...depending how you

look at it) issues. I didn't seek him out for that reason, but it sure is

coming in handy!! As a matter of fact, I just got home about 15 minutes ago (I

treated myself to an hour long massage and it was wonderful) and he had called

and left a message on the answering machine (keep in mind that I haven't

seen him at all for the miscarriage...I only saw my primary doctor) with his

beeper number. He just called me back. What a great man!! He's so kind.

Anyway, he first said that he was so sorry to hear about what happened. Of

course I started to get choked up, but I held myself together enough to sound

half

way intelligent. He said he DOES indeed want me to do the Clomid starting

with my next cycle, which should start in 4-6 weeks. He was funny because I

told him about all the multiples on Mark's side of the family and he said,

" Well, twins would be great, but we really don't want to do triplets. " I said,

" No kidding!! Our house isn't big enough for triplets. " LOL So...I'm

supposed to do the Clomid and then go in on the 21st day of my cycle to get my

progesterone tested. I will definitely mention to him about the progesterone.

I

had a friend who miscarried twice in a row. When she got pregnant the

third time (she had already had three successful pregnancies), she had to do a

progesterone suppository every night. She delivered a very healthy baby boy

(boy #4) who I ended up being Godmother to:)

Just another note: wouldn't you know that after my massage I stopped at the

store before going home. I saw, in the span of about 5 minutes (or less),

at least 5 newborns. One of them I had to stop and see and talk to mom

because they're members of our church. It was hard, and I almost started

bawling

right there, but I didn't want to say anything to her, so I just sucked it up

and it was just fine. The baby is so stinkin' cute!!!

Thanks for listening and thanks for your words of advice!!! I'll let you

know how things go.

Love and peace...

Melody
