Guest guest
Welcome to the site!! You'll find lots of information here that will be really helpful to you..and even more importantly than that you'll find lots of awesome women who are supportive and encouraging!! I'm a bit concerned about your doctor telling you it's OK to get pregnant this quickly after surgery. Everything I've read said that it's safest to wait at least a year before getting pregnant...and most things I've read have said that 18 months is even better. At just a few months out your body is still trying to figure out what you've done to it and making sure you're getting enough nutrients for you AND the baby is vital. Just my two cents worth. I know I had a very successful, uneventful surgery, and even with that my surgeon told me I had to wait 18 months. He finally gave in and gave me the green light after about 14 months, but said that he preferred I wait. At any rate, just remember to take care of yourself first...everything else will fall into place exactly as it's supposed to:) Peace...
