Guest guest
, Sounds like an amazing time for you and your Mom and sis too...I am so very very lucky that Mom and I live in the same city, and try to remember not to take that for granted, especially when I hear of people who are separated by many miles, like you and your Mom... Glad to hear you made it home safe and sound, Hugs, > Hi Everyone!!! > I am still catching up on emails but wanted to let everyone know that I am back from my Mom's house in TX. Thanks to all for the nice birthday wishes . It was great to be able to be with my Mom on my BDay, its been years since I have been able to do that, plus I was able to see my twin sis on our Bday weekend, and its been just as many years since we were together on our special day. My sis was finally able to see Hannah and she just cried and cried when she held her, it was a special moment. You see, since it took Glenn and I so many years to get pregnant my sister, who has endometriosis, put off having a total hysterectomy so she could carry a child for us if we needed her too. The pain got so bad for her that just prior to be getting pregnant she had the hysterectomy and was devastated that we might have lost our chance at a child. Well, obviously things worked out the best for everyone, God works in wonderful ways. > > My month with my Mom was so wonderful that neither one of us were ready for it to end. I have decided, with Glenn's blessing, that as long as he is active duty military that I am going to do this kind of trip to my Mom's twice a year to make sure that Hannah has a strong bond with my Mom. I feel really lucky that Glenn is supporting me doing this, especially since I realize that me leaving him for a month is hard on him. I can see how hard it was on him by the condition the house was in when I got home, LOL!!!! (Sigh), Oh well, it was worth it. > > Texas was wonderful for little Hannah, she DOUBLED her size there!!! LOL! I will have her official weight next week at her doc appt, but on our home scale it says she is now up to 12 lbs!!! I don't think the doc will be bitching at me about her weight anymore. She is learning so quickly, she already has discovered how to make raspberries. I got some pics taken at Wal-Mart last week, I hate them, but I will post them anyway so you guys can see her. > > Congrats and welcome to all the new mommies to be and congrats to all our new mommies. I see Toi and Robin have delivered but have yet to see if Chyrstal has. Maybe by the end of my email box I will see her time has come too. > > Axelrod > > >
