Guest guest
I went wed to the doc to have an ultrasound to check on my placenta--- it was lying low last time---and to find out the sex! PLacenta has lifted and it's a GIRL!!!!! Hubby and I can't believe it since I was convinced it was a boy! (but she was spread eagle so it was pretty obvious) We haven't settled on a name as of yet and I may post later to ask get opinions on the ones we are working with right now. The baby measured fine---good length, size, bladder, heart, brain, umbilical cord looks good etc...---however, there was one small problem they located on the u/s. They found " choroid plexus cyst " on the baby's brain. Doc says that is basically a pool of fluid and it is TINY! He said he would check again at 28 weeks (I am 18 right now) and he is sure it will have resolved itself. He said that it is more likely to resolved itself and dissapate than it is to cause further problems. So, I am trying to be optimistic---but anything dealing with the brain is scary. Does anyone know anything about CPC's? Anyone have any resources where I can go read up on it? PLease keep baby girl in your prayers and me so I don't stress! I head back to work on Monday (I am a teacher) and I am a little worried about getting in water, rest, etc..... Congrats to all the new babies---can't wait to hold mine.
