Guest guest
Congrats a! We have had a burst of baby boys being born here lately, but everyones new ultrasounds are predicting alot of girls! I have my second ultrasound on 8/19 @21weeks (first was done at 9 weeks to determine how far along I was, but of course peanut was WAY too little to tell anything) and can determine sex if we want, but hubby REALLY wants to be surprised in the end and not know ahead of time, so that is probably the route we will go. I was feeling the same way, UNTIL it got so close, and now that it's a week away, it is driving me CRAZY that I can find out what the baby is! Congrats again! C. Guest guest
, When I was preggo with Sammy I had the US tech write the gender on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. It was funny that I did not want to find out, hubby did, but I convinced him not to. Then durning the US I just couldn't stand knowing that she knew and I didn't, so I almost cracked. I gave the envelope to hubby and he " hid " it until Sammy was born. Then, when we were still in the hospital, I asked him to go home and get the envelope out of his sock drawer so we could see if she was right. He was amazed that I knew the whole time where the envelope was and never opened it. I just had that tiny moment of weakness when we were having the US when I wanted to know. I guess it was like Christmas for me, fun to wait to see what was in the wrapping paper. Jeanette in IL Lap RNY 5-9-03 264/145/135??
