Uterus Not Measuring Correctly!!!

At 10 weeks doctor couldn't hear heart beat wih doppler either, but didn't

expect to either. But it was seen on u/s also. Some babies are just smaller than

others. I and other personal friends that ihad wls have had smaller babies

and measured smaller than for their due date but been just fine.

Also....you or doctor may have calculated lmp wrong. So try not to worry,

relax (hard, i understand) and wait to see what the full u/s shows. Prob

everything is oksince he did see the heart beat by u/s

Measuring 8 weeks according to what..?

We don't even try to measure fundal height until after 12 weeks...when

the uterus stops being a pelvic organ and becomes an abdominal organ

and can be palpated...

by what did they determine that your uterus is measuring 8 weeks

instead of 10?

VERY normal...

again, another reason why many care providers don't try to use a

doppler until 12 weeks...so moms don't panic.

You're only going to be about 13 weeks or so...?

What kind of a " full ultrasound' are they going to do when you're only 13

weeks? What is the ultrasound for?

Sounds like everything is pretty much perfect...

saw a fetal pole...saw a heartbeat....sounds like it's perfect!
