Does anyone know about follice size and such?

Went to Dr. today. Today is day 10 of my cyle with taking clomid

days 5-9. He found 4 follicles only one measuring 14, the others

were small. He said that my uterus lining is measuring a 5. He told

me then that my husband is going to be the happiest man alive for a

while. Sex for the next 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eek!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh.. now something I can talk about! After 4 years of infertility

treatments!

On medicated cycles - my doc wanted to see my follies about 18-20

mm.. and my uterine lining around 10. I usually had follies that

ranged from 17 all the way to 26!! (but that was injectibles). I bet

that the one that's 14 will be perfect around cd 14 - it's amazing

how fast they grown!

Are you doing a trigger injection to ensure you Ovulate?

PS - and my doc had us BD'ing everyother day.. so that DH's sperm

had a " rest " period of a day.. but depending on his numbers, he may

be able to do every day..

No, I am not doing injectables. I just did the Clomid.

My husband hasn't been tested. I didn't have problems with getting

pregnant with my first one. My doc did say about giving me estrogen

for the uterine lining, but wanted to wait to see how this cycle will

go. He is on vacation next week so this a fly by the seat of my

pants cycle

actually, my doc said any follicle over 12mm is a good option 2 days

before the insemination (which may be 14-16-18 by the insemination

day).

On my first round of insemination, I had 12 follicles develop after

clomid and Profasi injections. He told me that " you have the

potential to fertilize 12 eggs and result in 12 babies, you know. " Of

course, we just got 1 (perfect and beautiful I might add!) 2nd and

3rd attempts at 3rd baby.

Just now waiting to feel better to see if I might wanna maybe

possibly kinda think about starting to TTC for #3. lol
