Guest guest
Good morning everyone I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant with baby number 4, and for the last week or so, I'm having aweful leg cramps all night long. Everytime I move it seems I'm having to get up and walk it off...is anybody else having to suffer through this? I have an appointment on Friday, so I plan to ask him then, but I was hoping to get some insight here first...I'm exhausted.... Help! Guest guest
Hi Pam! I suffered from leg cramps a lot when I didn't get in my calcium supplements in or didn't drink enough water. Are you taking your calcium? Drinking your water? As soon as I got back to my routine of taking both of these, the cramps did subside BUT in the meantime it was so hard as they were very painful & truck me in the very early morning hours losing sleep as well. Guest guest
HI Pam, Leg cramps (also known as charley horses) can be a sign of low potassium. I had those in my first pregnancy with my son over 12 years ago. I was told to eat lots of bananas or foods with potassium. You might try that......Good luck. I know how painful they can be!!!
